DENTURES AND PARTIAL DENTURES

When providing our patients with dentures, we have multiple choices. We can help patients who are missing a few teeth, several teeth or all their teeth on either the upper or lower arch. The keys are always ensuring the comfort of the patient, the natural appearance of the dentures and the success in enabling the patient to carry out everyday actions like eating or talking.

Partial Dentures

For a patient that has lost a few or several teeth, we provide partial dentures to complete their smiles. The key is designing a partial denture that fits securely in a patient’s mouth without irritating or damaging other teeth or gums. The replacement teeth that are part of this partial denture should match the patient’s natural teeth exactly, eliminating any ability to detect the denture.

Complete Dentures

Properly created dentures will fit securely while experiencing minimal shifting or need for dental adhesive. While there will always be restrictions on the types of food a denture wearer can eat, it is our goal to create a set of dentures that fits so securely, these restrictions will be minimal. The dentures should always look completely natural and improve the shape of a patient’s smile and face.

All-on-4 Dentures

All-on-4 dentures are secured to four strategically-placed dental implants. We start this procedure with stent-guided dental implants. This implant technique enables us to precisely place implants in the bone of the jaw so that they reside in the strongest and most dense bone for the best success. Once these implants have been placed, we then design the dentures that will be anchored on these implants. By securing the upper and lower dentures on implants, a patient can experience greater comfort and fewer restrictions on the foods they can eat. Finally, they can stop worrying about whether or not their dentures will shift or move while they are eating or talking. This is a whole new generation of dentures and our patients love the freedom they provide.

We Take Pride in the Dentures We Make for Our Patients

No matter which type of denture is best for our patients, we always take care to create accurate impressions that guide the perfect manufacture of their dentures. Once dentures are manufactured and delivered, we realize that the job is not yet done. We will work with a patient over multiple visits, if needed, to adjust the fit until it is perfect. Traditional dentures (dentures not secured to dental implants) should fit securely and enable our patients to talk and eat without distraction.

When we provide dentures that fit properly and look both aesthetic and natural, we know we have enabled our patients to recover from the loss of their teeth. This improvement is a confidence booster that we enjoy just as much as our patients do.
